Story
Well, it’s been fun riding my first beginner bike, but it’s time to upgrade 😎.
I liked the Ninja 500, but I knew when I bought it that I wouldn’t keep it. It’s fun, but I never really loved the way it looked, or how it sounded.
My new bike, however, solved those problems for me.
I purchased a lightly used (5k mi) 2022 Yamaha XSR 900 in “Legend Blue” off of Marketplace.
It has a 890cc 3 cylinder engine, making 117hp and 68lb-ft of torque. A quickshifter up and down, multiple riding modes, wheelie control, and a nice sounding exhaust made me giddy when I test rode it.
